Softball Recap: Gilbert Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Gilbert and A-D-M had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Gilbert fell 5-1 to A-D-M on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against A-D-M this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Monday.

Gilbert's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for A-D-M, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Gilbert will head out on the road to take on Bondurant-Farrar at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers are facing the Bluejays at the right time seeing as the Bluejays are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for A-D-M, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Urbandale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
