After flying high against Telos last Tuesday, Freedom Prep Academy came back down to earth. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds who were credited with the victory on Thursday. The Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles' two. Freedom Prep Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Utah Military Academy - Hill Field apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Freedom Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.
