Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison lost against Community back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Madison Panthers came up short against the Community Trojans, falling 40-19. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Trojans are ranked 150th).

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Community, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Madison will face off against Marion County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Community, they will venture away from home to face off against New Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
