Basketball Recap: Pershing Victorious

Pershing posted their closest victory since January 10th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pontiac Phoenix, sneaking past 55-53.

Pershing now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Pontiac, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Pershing will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2026. As for Pontiac, they will challenge Stoney Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
