            Basketball Recap: Yuma Outlaws vs. Strasburg Indians        
        
		
        
        
            Yuma lost against Strasburg back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Yuma Outlaws lost to the Strasburg Indians at home  by a   44-28 margin. The Outlaws have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the loss, Yuma still got an impressive performance from   Berkley Nighswonger, who  posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bailey Nighswonger, who  had seven  points.
 Strasburg had a senior duo take command as  Peighton Marrero  put up 12 points along with eight  steals and six  boards and  Natalie Damron  dropped  a double-double with 15  points and 13  rebounds. Marrero is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 17 games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Taryn LaForce, who  scored six points and nine  boards.
Yuma's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Strasburg,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 14-4.
 Coming up, Yuma will be playing in front of their home fans against Windsor Charter Academy  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Windsor Charter Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Strasburg, they will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Forge Christian  at 4:30  p.m. Strasburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4  points per game  this season.
