Soccer Recap: Menomonie Comes Up Short

Menomonie lost against Hudson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs came up short against the Raiders, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Menomonie can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 96th, while Hudson are ranked 17th).

This is the second loss in a row for Menomonie and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1. As for Hudson, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menomonie will welcome River Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hudson, they will host Kimberly at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kimberly will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hudson surely won't give up without a fight.
