Baseball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Upper Scioto Valley's offense. They lost 9-0 to the New Knoxville Rangers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 8-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Upper Scioto Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macain Underwood, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Upper Scioto Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for New Knoxville, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Upper Scioto Valley will square off against Ada at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for New Knoxville, they will challenge Jackson Center at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
