Volleyball Recap: Gowanda Takes a Loss

Gowanda suffered their biggest defeat since October 28, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Chautauqua Lake Eagles, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-19.

Gowanda's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Chautauqua Lake, they pushed their record up to 23-7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gowanda will challenge Eden at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chautauqua Lake, they will square off against Fredonia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
