Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Pendleton County finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Nicholas County Bluejackets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bluejackets this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-3 defeat last Saturday.

Pendleton County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15-1. As for Nicholas County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-23.

As of now, neither Pendleton County nor the Bluejackets have any future games scheduled.
