Georgetown came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Waccamaw Warriors. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by just one run.

The result came thanks to Tucker Perrow's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. Those three hits allowed gave him a new career-low.

Georgetown's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Waccamaw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgetown will challenge Aynor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waccamaw, they will face off against Dillon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waccamaw is facing Dillon at the right time seeing as Dillon is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
