Clear Springs has gone 8-2 against Clear Brook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Clear Springs Chargers are taking a road trip to take on the Clear Brook Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. Clear Springs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Clear Brook's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Tuesday, Clear Springs was able to grind out a solid victory over Summer Creek, taking the game 7-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

The team relied heavily on Makenzie Thomas, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Erianna Garcia, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Clear Springs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Clear Brook lost 14-6 to Memorial on Friday.

Ahiza Garcia was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. She also hit two doubles, marking her first of the season. Taliyah Williams was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Clear Springs' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Clear Brook, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Clear Springs suffered a grim 11-5 defeat to Clear Brook in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Clear Springs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
