Softball Recap: Morton Comes Up Short

Morton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 24-1 to the Tahoka Bulldogs.

Morton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miriam Vizcarra, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Morton's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Tahoka, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Morton will face off against rival New Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Tahoka is set to square off against their familiar foe Seagraves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
