Recap: Marshfield Rams vs. Bishop Feehan Shamrocks
The Marshfield Rams had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 51-24 win over Bishop Feehan at home. Winning may never get old, but Marshfield sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Despite the defeat, Bishop Feehan saw an underclassman step up: Owen Mordas threw for 242 yards and three touchdowns.
Marshfield pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.8 points per game. As for Bishop Feehan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.
Marshfield will head out on the road to face off against Catholic Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Catholic Memorial is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Bishop Feehan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
