Basketball Recap: Trillium Academy Comes Up Short

Trillium Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ecorse Raiders. Trillium Academy lost against Ecorse in their previous head to head back in February of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 54-30 score last time.

Trillium Academy's record is now 12-7. As for Ecorse, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Trillium Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ecorse, they will be taking part in a tournament against Richard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Richard knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 contests -- so hopefully Ecorse likes a good challenge.
