Football Recap: Kenwood Beats Prosser for Their Ninth Straight Win

It's playoff time, and Kenwood had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Prosser Falcons 62-6 on Friday. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Kenyonte Louis produced another solid performance throwing for 162 yards and five touchdowns on perfect 10-for-10 passing. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Drake Harris was in the mix as well, providing Kenwood with two TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Kenwood proved: they limited Prosser to a paltry 3.3 yards per carry. The Broncos didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.7.

The win was the ninth in a row for Kenwood, bringing their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.8 points over those games. As for Prosser, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Kenwood will challenge Lincoln-Way West at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Broncos 12.3, the Warriors 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Prosser does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
