Needham and Natick are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Rockets will host the Redhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Needham fell victim to Wellesley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 9-0 to the Raiders. The Rockets have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Natick entered their tilt with Braintree on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wamps a 2-0 shutout. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since June 2, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Natick's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Needham, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Everything went Needham's way against Natick when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Needham made off with a 9-3 win. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
