            Volleyball Recap: Fenton Tigers vs. Romeo Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Swartz Creek  on Wednesday, Fenton came back down to earth. The Tigers took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Romeo Bulldogs on Thursday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 Eva Long paced Fenton's offense, picking up eight kills. Long really made an impact as  she also led the team in assists with 15.
Fenton's loss  ended  a  six-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-8. As for Romeo, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10-1 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Fenton and Romeo will both be playing Mercy the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Marlins at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 6:30  p.m.
