Volleyball Recap: Reagan's Winning Streak Snapped at Eight Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Reagan can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Brennan Bears on Thursday. The Rattlers' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Kennedy Crider paced Reagan's offense, picking up 21 kills. Crider got some help from Lauren Garcia and her 27 assists. Finally, Izzy Weis kept Reagan's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Leading Brennan to victory were Khloe Cisneros and Rubie Mares. Cisneros had 20 digs and one assist, while Mares had four digs and two aces. What's more, Mares racked up 25 assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 30-13. As for Brennan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-13 record this season.

Reagan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brennan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Westlake on the 3rd.
