It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Archbishop Ryan had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They managed a 52-48 victory over the La Salle College Explorers. This was a revenge game for the Raiders and Ragdolls: when they faced off against the Explorers back in January, they had to take a 77-64 defeat.

Archbishop Ryan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malik Hughes, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points and five blocks. What's more, Hughes also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mark Gallagher, who went 6 for 11 to rack up 20 points and five boards.

Archbishop Ryan's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for La Salle College, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
