A Season-Best Effort from Kaden Vest Leads Spanish Fork over Provo

Spanish Fork came up short on Friday despite Kaden Vest delivering his best game to date. Vest rushed for 325 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

Vest must have Provo's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Vest last faced the Bulldogs back in September of 2023, he rushed for 202 yards and a touchdown.

Gehrig Orchard Delivers Best Performance of Season

Gehrig Orchard produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Provo to the win on Friday. Orchard threw for 503 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt.

The win was the fifth in a row for Provo, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Orchard and Provo will square off against Uintah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Andrew Hillstead's Big Game Leads Timpanogos over Payson

Timpanogos found a leader in Andrew Hillstead as the team took down Payson on Friday. Hillstead did his part (and then some), throwing for 195 yards and five touchdowns for the 'W'.

Timpanogos has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Hillstead and Timpanogos will challenge Salem Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Provo Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Oliver Mackay

Oliver Mackay was instrumental in extending Provo's winning streak to five on Friday. Mackay's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 56 yards.

Crew Demartini Turns in Season-Best Performance

Provo was led to victory by Crew Demartini, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Demartini made six total tackles. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 60 yards.

This season, Demartini has averaged 3.7 total tackles per game and for the season has 5 interceptions.
