Basketball Game Preview: Thrive Charter vs. Holy Cross Lancers

Having just played yesterday, Thrive Charter will head out on the road to face off against the Holy Cross Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Thrive Charter is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Notre Dame by a score of 63-51 on Sunday.

Thrive Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tori Evans led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Evans has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Sondjane Doudin was another key player, putting up 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Meanwhile, Holy Cross came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bears 48-28.

Thrive Charter's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Holy Cross, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
