Volleyball Game Preview: Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers vs. Meridian Bobcats

After both having extra time off, the Joppa-Maple Grove Rangers and the Meridian Bobcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Joppa-Maple Grove and 11 for Meridian.

On Tuesday, Joppa-Maple Grove came up short against Shawnee and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Meridian didn't have quite enough to beat Century on Wednesday and fell 2-1. While the Bobcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Centurions 25-19 in the first set.

Meridian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Joppa-Maple Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
