Basketball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 51-22 loss at the hands of the Mid-Moore Christian Tornados. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mid-Moore Christian found their leader in sophomore C Moore, who posted 15 points and five steals. Moore has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was N Herhold, who had five points and five steals.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mid-Moore Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Life Christian the next time they take the court. Mid-Moore Christian will host Life Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Trinity will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on January 16, 2025.
