Volleyball Recap: Pinellas Park Takes a Loss

Pinellas Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tampa Bay HEAT. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to Tampa Bay HEAT from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Tampa Bay HEAT found their leader in freshman Kinslee Walker, who had 13 digs and two assists. Walker is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Pinellas Park's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Tampa Bay HEAT, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Pinellas Park has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Clearwater Central Catholic on the 4th. As for Tampa Bay HEAT, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Countryside on the 3rd.
