Nixa has gone a perfect 5-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Nixa faced off against Glendale on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Falcons, falling 5-1. Nixa have struggled against Glendale recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Central was not quite Ozark's equal in the second half on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Ozark are ranked 20th).

Nixa's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Nixa's way against Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Nixa made off with a 5-2 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
