Basketball Recap: Silas Rams vs. Timberline Blazers
Silas lost against Timberline back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Silas Rams took a 68-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberline Blazers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Rams still had to take the loss.
It was another big night for Kenyon Simmons, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds for Timberline. Simmons is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Tillman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Silas is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10. As for Timberline, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10.
Silas has already played their next game, a 72-63 win against River Ridge on the 6th. As for Timberline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 66-62 loss against Lincoln on the 6th.
