Basketball Game Preview: Flint River Academy Wildcats vs. St. Mary's Academy Bobcats + How To Watch

The Flint River Academy Wildcats will head out to take on the St. Mary's Academy Bobcats at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Flint River Academy is leaving town to face St. Mary's Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Wildcats took a blow against Rock Springs Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 56-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Cole Riner was Flint River Academy's leading scorer, having posted five points. Riner also led the team in rebounds with six.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's Academy suffered their biggest loss since January 31st on Friday. They had to suffer through a 71-25 loss at the hands of Furtah Prep. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Bobcats' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Flint River Academy might still be hurting after the 47-25 defeat they got from St. Mary's Academy when the teams last played back in January. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
