Paul VI is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Saint Gertrude with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Paul VI won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-23.

Collegiate typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Catholic proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Cougars 3-2.

Catholic got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 31-29, 24-26, 21-25, 25-21, 15-10.

Paul VI's victory bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 25-8.
