Baseball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Maggie Walker

Maggie Walker took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Highland Springs, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Maggie Walker sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Highland Springs on Wednesday. The game was the first time Maggie Walker has beaten Highland Springs on their field since March 19, 2015.

The team relied heavily on Lewis Dunn, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
