Softball Recap: Harriton Drops Highest Score of Season Against Lower Merion

Harriton extended their losing streak to nine on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-9 in the process. They lost 26-16 to the Lower Merion Aces. On the bright side, the 16- run effort marked the Rams' highest-scoring matchup to date.

As for Lower Merion, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-9-1. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14th (when they won 15-4).

For Lower Merion's part, Hannah Davis was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave Davis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Carly Breen, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Harriton will face off against rival Penncrest at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lower Merion is set to square off against their familiar foe Conestoga at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
