Volleyball Recap: Riverwalk Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Riverwalk Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the McBee Panthers. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-2, 25-6.

McBee can attribute much of their success to Emily Ramos, who had five aces and three assists. Ramos is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Riverwalk Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for McBee, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Riverwalk Academy will face off against rival Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McBee is set to challenge their familiar foe Midlands STEM Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
