Baseball Game Preview: Triton Cobras vs. Sibley East Wolverines

The Triton Cobras are taking a road trip to take on the Sibley East Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sibley East took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Triton, who comes in off a win.

Triton not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3rd (when they won 12-0). They never let Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cobras in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Sibley East unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Belle Plaine by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wolverines have suffered against the Tigers since April 8, 2019.

Sibley East's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Triton, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
