Lake Zurich's match on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mundelein Mustangs a 3-0 shutout. Considering Lake Zurich have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Mundelein with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tessa Fabsik, Zoe Chang, and Reilly Novak.

Lake Zurich is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-1-2 record this season. As for Mundelein, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4-2.
