Baseball Recap: Ursuline's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ursuline can now relate to. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Girard Indians on Thursday. The Fighting Irish were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Ursuline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Triveri, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double.

Ursuline's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12. As for Girard, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-12.

As of now, neither Ursuline nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
