Baseball Recap: Cameron Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spooner, Cameron was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They skirted past the Ladysmith Lumberjacks 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Brady Gronski, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Jayton Silvernail was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Cameron's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Ladysmith, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
