Basketball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Timberline

On Wednesday, Centennial faced Timberline in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Centennial Patriots fell 56-45 to the Timberline Wolves. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Payton Knudson, who went 6 of 10 en route to 17 points. The dominant performance also gave Knudson a new career-high in blocks (two). Gabe Eddins was another key player, going 6 for 14 on his way to 15 points.
