Basketball Recap: Traip Comes Up Short

Traip suffered their closest defeat since December 21, 2023 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Waynflete Flyers by a score of 37-34. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Flyers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Traip's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Waynflete, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Traip will be playing in front of their home fans against Dirigo at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waynflete, they will head out on the road to take on Cape Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
