Basketball Game Preview: Coshocton Redskins vs. Tri-Valley Scotties

Coshocton hasn't had much luck against Tri-Valley recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Redskins will look to defend their home court against the Scotties at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Coshocton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

On Tuesday, Coshocton came up short against Philo and fell 71-61. The loss put an end to the Redskins' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tri-Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They breezed past New Lexington to the tune of 52-16 on Tuesday. With the Scotties ahead 37-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 1-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points over those games. As for Coshocton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
