Soccer Game Preview: Mendenhall vs. Magee + Official Tickets

Mendenhall hasn't had much luck against Magee recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Mendenhall has given up an average of 6.2 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mendenhall fell victim to Forrest County Agricultural and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Aggies, falling 6-0. One reason for the loss might be Mendenhall's aggressive play style: four Mendenhall players were handed yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Magee had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against West Marion as they made off with an 8-1 win.

Mendenhall's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Magee, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Mendenhall might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Magee in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
