Preview: Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply vs. Cheyenne/Reydon Bears
Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply will take on the Cheyenne/Reydon Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply kicked off their season on the road on January 4th and hit a couple of potholes. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 37-30 loss to Balko.
Meanwhile, Cheyenne/Reydon came up short against Hammon on Saturday and fell 56-43. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cheyenne/Reydon in their matchups with Hammon: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Cheyenne/Reydon had strong showings from Kynli Carlson, who scored 21 points along with two steals and two blocks, and Kimbo Denney, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply came up short against Cheyenne/Reydon in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, falling 46-33. Can Fargo/Gage/Fort Supply avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
