Softball Game Preview: Greeneview Rams vs. Shawnee Braves

The Greeneview Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Shawnee Braves at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.

Greeneview lost 20-1 to Northwestern on Wednesday.

Greeneview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaycie Christian, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Shawnee got the win against Northeastern on Tuesday by a conclusive 20-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Alee Trimmer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Trimmer was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Maura Simpson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Raelynn Botkin was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

Shawnee's record now sits at 2-0. As for Greeneview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
