Powdersville had won two straight road games and Makayla Assemian did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Powdersville Patriots claimed a resounding 83-30 victory over the Palmetto Mustangs thanks in part to Assemian, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Raegan Bryant was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine assists. What's more, she also racked up three blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Powdersville has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Palmetto, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Powdersville has already played their next matchup (against Carolina Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Palmetto will venture away from home to square off against St. Joseph's Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
