Basketball Recap: KIPP King Takes a Loss

KIPP King was the 58-46 winner over KIPP SF College Prep when they last played one another back in November of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The KIPP King Lions were beaten by the KIPP SF College Prep Phoenix 84-38 on Thursday.

KIPP King now has a losing record at 5-6. As for KIPP SF College Prep, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

The future could be bright for both KIPP King and KIPP SF College Prep: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. KIPP King will try to hand Lighthouse Community their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, KIPP SF College Prep will look to extend City Arts and Leadership Academy's three-game losing streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th.
