Volleyball Recap: Mosley Takes Down Arnold in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mosley walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Arnold Marlins with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Dolphins not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Mosley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-19.

Ellery Mcelheney paced Mosley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mcelheney got some help from Mckenzie Rimmer and her 20 assists. Ariana Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The victory snapped Mosley's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 14-11 record. As for Arnold, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-16.

Mosley has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Choctawhatchee on the 16th. Arnold does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
