Baseball Game Preview: Leyden Eagles vs. Glenbrook South Titans

The Leyden Eagles will head out to square off against the Glenbrook South Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leyden hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Leyden came up short against Fenwick on Monday, falling 8-2.

Leyden saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hassan Khrawish, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was Khrawish's first of the season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Glenbrook South's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Palatine by a score of 5-4.

James Dooman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Leyden's record is now 16-16. As for Glenbrook South, their record now sits at 15-20.
