Basketball Recap: Fort Loramie Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Botkins came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Fort Loramie, but Dj Barhorst wouldn't allow it. The Fort Loramie Redskins walked away with a 39-30 win over the Botkins Trojans on Friday thanks in part to Barhorst, who posted 17 points along with five boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Fort Loramie is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Botkins, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.

Fort Loramie will welcome Miami Valley Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Miami Valley Christian Academy will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Fort Loramie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Botkins, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against New Bremen at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
