Brick Township lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lacey Township, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's contest. The Green Dragons were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Lions on Wednesday. Considering the Green Dragons have won three games by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pat Shave looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Chris Quick was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Matt Goodfellow also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Brick Township's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lacey Township, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Brick Township will challenge New Egypt at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Lacey Township, they will venture away from home to take on Pinelands Regional at 3:45 a.m. on Thursday.
