Baseball Recap: John F. Kennedy Comes Up Short

John F. Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cuero Gobblers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rockets have suffered since March 23, 2024.

John F. Kennedy now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Cuero, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

John F. Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Somerset on the 22nd. As for Cuero, they are taking a road trip to face off against John F. Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
