Softball Recap: Manor Takes a Loss

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 16-3 to the Vista Ridge Rangers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

Manor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Deja Vincent, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Manor's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Vista Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Manor will square off against rival Hutto at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Vista Ridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Cedar Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
