Soccer Game Preview: Morgan vs. Judge Memorial Catholic

The Morgan Trojans will challenge the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Friday, Morgan came up short against Ben Lomond and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Judge Memorial Catholic had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They never let the Soaring Eagle get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Judge Memorial Catholic's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Tahj Cole, who's now up to five this season.

Judge Memorial Catholic pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Morgan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Morgan beat Judge Memorial Catholic by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
